I started with the Blue Crab Melt, and I was blown away by the delicate balance of flavors. The crab was sweet and succulent, and the perfectly toasted bread provided a satisfying crunch. For my main course, I couldn't resist the Wood-Grilled Filet. It was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a smoky char that added depth to every bite. The accompanying truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus were the ideal companions, elevating the dish to a level of culinary excellence that I'll remember for a long time. The dessert menu at Walker's Drive In is equally impressive. I indulged in the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, and it was a symphony of decadence. First time in Jackson and this is a must! In the Fondren neighborhood they have wonderful art deco architecture.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Walker’s Drive-In never disappoints! We hadn’t been in a while, but everything was better than ever. The service was excellent, and the food is hands-down some of the best in Jackson. We came on a Thursday and appreciated that they were open until 9—perfect timing for us. The place was clean, comfy, and had a great vibe. It was busy, so we had to park a couple of blocks away, but it was well worth it. We had the Wagyu, lobster skewers, and a glass of Josh Chardonnay—everything was incredible. The truffle fries and side potatoes were seasoned to perfection. Our waiter was fantastic—super attentive and rocking a great mustache! We even gave him a compliment on it. We love that Walker’s still holds onto its original charm. My husband and I will absolutely keep coming back… and we can’t wait to try more of the menu!

I had lunch around 11 on a Thursday at Walker’s Drive In. We walked in and were stated immediately. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is top notch. The food is top quality and priced great. The service was very quick but still allowed us to enjoy the food! Business did seem to pick up closer to 12, but service stayed on top. I will definitely be back for lunch! I can’t wait to try dinner!

This place was amazing. When I got there, it was still light out and it looked like a total dive from the outside. Once you walk through the door, it was magical. I sat at the food bar and watched the staff work. I had a flash fried softshell crab (to die for) with a garlic cream sauce; followed by two foie gras on a Butter soak crostini with a berry salty sauce (heavenly). Finished with a blueberry upside down corn cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. The bartender made me a delicious mock tail. Everyone was super friendly. I would return to Jackson, Mississippi just to eat at Walkers again.

Excellent food and service. The red fish with lump crab was amazing! Wonderful flavors cooked right. The red snapper with mushrooms and capers was also a real treat. Alex was a pleasure to deal with and provided excellent, friendly service while answering questions and making suggestions. Then to top it all off we delighted in the Mississippi peach fried pie, dusted with cinnamon and sugar served with a vanilla bean ice cream and white chocolate sauce. It was absolute heaven. Crisp and clean flavor. Not overly sweet or oily tasting. Sheer perfection. You cannot go wrong dining at Walker’s Drive-In.

Loved EVERYTHING! From the hosts to the server I felt welcomed & the food was a 10/10 !! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
